New Director of Wilson Ship Management

 

Finally, the time has come for us to present our new Director of Wilson Ship Management, Henrik Orth.
Henrik has been a part of the Wilson family for 16 years and is now eager to deepen his understanding of the ship management aspect of Wilson.

1️⃣ After many years as Operation Manager at Wilson, you will now enter a new role in the company. What are you most looking forward to in the new role?

"Over the past 16 years, I have focused on selling our product to customers; now, I look forward to contributing to its further development. By working together with the team, my goal is to strengthen its competitiveness and ensure it meets all future requirements, while maintaining a safe and trustworthy operation".

2️⃣ How will you use your previous experiences in the new position?

“My experience working on the commercial side of the company and maintaining close relationships with our customers has provided me with a deep understanding of their expectations towards a shipowner. This insight will be very useful in my new position”.

3️⃣ What type of leader are you?

“I would describe myself as a relational leader: I believe in building genuine, trust-based connections by sharing aspects of my own life and experiences with my team. I try to base it on openness and mutual understanding, hopefully creating a supportive environment where everyone feels valued”.
